About the role

Macedon Ranges Shire Council is seeking the services of a skilled and passionate team player for the position of Recreation Development Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to play a key role in the planning, development, management and delivery of sporting and recreational programs and projects across the Macedon Ranges. In return, you will join a supportive and passionate Recreation team working in the picturesque Macedon Ranges.

About you

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of community level sport principles and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders including clubs, volunteers and the local community to achieve positive outcomes. You will also possess a strong customer service mindset and bring a positive 'can-do' attitude to the role on a daily basis.

Macedon Ranges Shire is located in central Victoria, about an hour's drive north-west of Melbourne. Covering an area of around 1700 square kilometres, the shire is a semi-rural municipality known for its beautiful natural landscapes.
