About the role 

School Crossing Supervisors play an important role in helping children across the shire get to school safely. Macedon Ranges Shire Council is looking for enthusiastic, independent, and community-minded people to be a friendly face in the local community and provide this vital service. Council manages 21 school crossings across the shire with various shift times between 8am – 9:30am and 3pm-4pm, Monday to Friday during the school term.

 

About you 

To be considered for this important job you need to:
  • Be of good character and able to relate well to children.
  • Possess excellent communication skills.
  • Be medically fit and capable of working in all weather conditions.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
  • Successfully complete a police check before starting.
  • Currently hold, or be willing to obtain, an Employee Working With Children Card before starting.
  • Have your own means of transportation
