About the role

The Facilities and Aquatics department help manage a $26.7 million capital works budget, providing and maintaining key facilities for our community including; completing the Macedon Ranges Sports Precinct; developing the Shared Trail between Woodend and Riddells Creek; developing the Kyneton Showgrounds Netball Court and change rooms; and, the renewal of town and community halls. The team also operate our award-winning aquatic facilities in Gisborne, Kyneton, Woodend and Lancefield and two gyms. The role provides strategic leadership to three teams - Facility Management, Facility Projects, and Aquatics and Fitness.

About you

As part of Council's Senior Leadership Team, you will be someone who is able to manage projects, finance and demonstrate business acumen. You will use your leadership and relationship management skills to inspire high levels of staff engagement and performance, through a supportive approach that motivates collaboration toward achieving shared goals, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
