Educator Teacher: $44.15 to $73.69 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading, plus Super.
Educator Certificate 3: $35.14 to $37.78 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading, plus Super.
Educator Diploma: $39.57 per hour inclusive of 25% casual loading, plus Super.

About the role

Are you a qualified Early Childhood educator looking for flexible work options? Join our casual pool and choose the days that suit you best! You’ll help cover staff leave across our eight kindergartens in Kyneton, Woodend, Lancefield, Romsey, Riddells Creek, Macedon, and Gisborne, supporting high-quality programs for three and four-year-olds during school terms. Shifts start at 8:00 am and finish by 4:30 pm, with options for full-day or short lunch cover shifts (2–3 hours). In this role, you work with children, individuals with disabilities, or people who are vulnerable, and you will be expected to uphold our duty of care by reporting any concerns. We are a proud child-safe organisation with zero tolerance for abuse, committed to the highest standards in child safety through clear policies, procedures, and a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. We are looking for applicants with availability of a minimum 3 days per week

About you

We’re looking for educators who are passionate about creating warm, engaging, and inclusive learning environments where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow. The right candidate brings patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children. You’ll use your creativity to make learning fun and meaningful, while your strong communication skills will help you build positive relationships with families, colleagues, and the wider community. We value educators who are organised, flexible, and committed to continuous learning. A solid understanding of early childhood development and a focus on nurturing each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth are essential to this role. Experience working with mixed age groups is highly regarded.
