An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Open Space and Recreation team at Macedon Ranges Shire Council in the role of Open Space and Recreation Planner. This exciting role is an opportunity to provide direction and operational input into the planning, development, management, maintenance and delivery of recreation and open space facilities and projects across the community.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated and enthusiastic team and will provide policy and technical advice on a range of recreation and open space issues. You will be a team player with a positive 'can-do' approach and possess extensive knowledge and application of open space and recreation planning. You will have demonstrated planning, project and program management skills. You will also have a highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish networks and consult and liaise effectively with external agencies, stakeholders, council and the community.
