 Macedon Ranges Shire Council is seeking the services of a skilled and passionate team player for the position of Recreation Development Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to play a key role in the planning, development, management and delivery of sporting and recreational programs and projects across the Macedon Ranges.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of community level sport principles and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders including clubs, volunteers and the local community to achieve positive outcomes. You will also possess a strong customer service mindset and bring a positive 'can-do' attitude to the role on a daily basis.

Macedon Ranges Shire is located in central Victoria, about an hour's drive north-west of Melbourne. Covering an area of around 1700 square kilometres, the shire is a semi-rural municipality known for its beautiful natural landscapes. The shire has an estimated population of around 51,500 people and resides on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples.
