About the role

A fantastic opportunity is available to join the Resource Recovery team as the Team Leader Resource Recovery Your technical skills and experience in managing and operating Resource Recovery Facilities/Transfer Stations, street sweeping and dumped rubbish, will be complimented by a demonstrated ability to work with the team to deliver excellence in resource recovery services. As well as knowledge and experience of EPA and Worksafe requirements you will be joining a high-performing leadership team and help keep one of Victoria’s most scenic and vibrant regions clean and welcoming.

About you

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader of Resource Recovery to lead the delivery of high-quality resource recovery and street cleaning services across the Shire. This role is integral to enhancing the livability and safety of our communities through the effective maintenance of gutters, footpaths, and collection of illegal dumped rubbish. Your knowledge of waste management obligations, combined with hands-on experience in innovation, planning, and delivery, will be essential to your success in this role. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working collaboratively with a committed and professional team. The successful applicant will have demonstrated skills in developing a team of outdoor staff and motivating staff to deliver resource recovery as a customer service. Knowledge of resource recovery facilities. A degree in civil or environmental engineering or significant experience in resource recovery is preferred.
