The Civil Maintenance and Construction team is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for suitably experienced and passionate people to fill the Senior Team Leader Civil Infrastructure Construction position within the Civil Maintenance and Construction area for the term.

The responsibilities and tasks required by the team leader positions are:

  • Efficiently oversee and schedule staff, contractors, and resources to execute construction and maintenance services.
  • Implement cost-effective practices aligned with the Council's Road Management Plan and relevant safety protocols, including conducting inspections and maintenance activities on sealed roads, bridges, guardrails, and local roadsides.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, assess tenders, and administer contracts for Council's panel contracts associated with this role.
  • Offer administrative and technical assistance to the Senior Technical Officer Civil Maintenance and Coordinator Civil Maintenance and Construction.
  • Cultivate a customer-centric approach to service delivery by promptly and courteously addressing customer requests and inquiries.
  • Review and authorise staff time sheets.
