Are you passionate about health, fitness and supporting your community to stay active?

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are interested in future fitness opportunities across our Gisborne and Kyneton locations.

We are keen to hear from people across a range of fitness disciplines, including:

  • Group Fitness Instructors
  • Personal Trainers
  • Gym/Floor Instructors
  • Aqua Instructors

About you:
You bring energy, professionalism and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You may be experienced or emerging in the industry, with relevant qualifications (or working towards them) and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.

Mandatory quals for Fitness Instructor:

First Aid, CPR, WWCC card, a minimum Certificate 3 in Fitness Instruction and Current National Fitness Registration (AusActive Accredited, Physical Activity Australia, FITREC or other equivalent registration bodies as approved by Council). 

Mandatory Class Instructor

First Aid, CPR, WWC card and a minimum Certificate 3 in Fitness Instruction, Current National Fitness Registration (AusActive, Physical Activity Australia, FITREC or other equivalent registration bodies as approved by Council), or AUSTSWIM WETS Aqua Instructor Certificate.

Macedon Ranges Shire is located in central Victoria, about an hour's drive north-west of Melbourne. Covering an area of around 1700 square kilometres, the shire is a semi-rural municipality known for its beautiful natural landscapes. The shire has an estimated population of around 51,500 people and resides on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples.
