About the role

We are a small, fun team, who work collaboratively across all accounting functions. You will take an active role in the delivery of accounting services, including assistance with external and internal financial & management reporting, general ledger reconciliations, budget, financial statements and planning, audit, FBT and accounting support for Council management and staff. 

About you

We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines. The ideal applicant will be able to build effective working relationships and gain cooperation from clients and colleagues. You will bring strong accounting experience, including external and internal financial reporting, budgeting, preparation of financial statements, and general ledger control. A Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Commerce (or lesser formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience) is required, along with sound knowledge of current Australian Accounting Standards.
