About the role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Certificate III-qualified Educator to join our team at Macedon Ranges Shire Council. Macedon Position: This is a fantastic opportunity to support our 4-year-old kindergarten program; Group days: Tuesday and Friday , 8:00am to 4:30pm Planning time: Wednesday, 2 hours Woodend Position: This is a fantastic opportunity to support our 4-year-old kindergarten program; Group Times: Wednesday and Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Planning: Thursday, 2 hours As part of our team, you will work alongside experienced educators to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning space for children. Your role will involve actively supporting the planning and delivery of play-based learning experiences, helping with daily routines, and building strong relationships with children and families.

About you

You are a passionate Certificate III-qualified early childhood educator, dedicated to creating a nurturing, play-based learning environment where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to thrive. You bring warmth, enthusiasm, and a growing understanding of early childhood development to your work each day. You value teamwork and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where educators are respected and supported. Reflective and open to learning, you’re always looking to improve your practice and contribute positively to the team. With a working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS), you’re committed to supporting high-quality educational experiences and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children.
