Location:

Permanent Full Time
$111,609 - $124,867 per annum plus Super and RDO
Position No: 5052
About the role
This is an opportunity to lead a team that genuinely cares about people and the difference they make across the organisation.
As Coordinator Safety and Wellbeing, you'll have the scope to shape initiatives, influence leaders and help create an environment where people feel supported to do their best work. You'll partner with teams across Council, tackle meaningful challenges and drive positive change that improves the experience of our people every day.
No two days will look the same. One day you might be helping leaders navigate a complex issue, the next you'll be shaping a new initiative, reviewing opportunities for improvement or celebrating the success of a program that's making a real difference. If you're someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and leading through influence, you'll find plenty of variety and opportunity in this role.
About you
You're someone who leads with people first.
You build trust quickly, communicate with confidence and know how to bring others along on the journey. You're relationship-focused, pragmatic and approachable, with the ability to balance competing priorities while keeping people at the centre of decision-making.
You'll enjoy working collaboratively, supporting leaders to find practical solutions and creating an environment where people feel safe, valued and supported. Just as importantly, you'll be a great fit for our team culture. We value authenticity, teamwork, curiosity and a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
We're looking for someone who not only has the capability to lead the function, but also someone who genuinely cares about people and wants to make a positive contribution to the workplace experience of others.
