Position No: 9093

About the role

Join our Civil Maintenance Team and play an important role in keeping our roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure safe and well maintained across our community.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll carry out inspections and a range of maintenance and labouring activities. You’ll work alongside an experienced team, gain practical skills and contribute to projects that have a visible impact on the local community.

You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’ll provide on-the-job training and support you to build your knowledge, develop your skills and grow your experience in civil maintenance.

About you

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values safety and has a strong eye for detail. You’ll understand the importance of public safety and enjoy working outdoors as part of a team.

You’ll ideally have experience in inspections, civil maintenance, construction or a related field, particularly involving roads, footpaths or drainage. We’re also interested in people who have transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

Most importantly, you’ll be reliable, willing to get involved and motivated to develop your skills.

Civil maintenance is a career for everyone, and we particularly encourage women who are interested in hands-on work, outdoor careers and making a difference in their community to apply.
