About the role

This exciting role supports the delivery of tourism and community events across the Macedon Ranges, while managing Council's Events and Festivals Grants Program to help bring local events to life. Working closely with event organisers and stakeholders, the position plays a key role in driving visitation, supporting local businesses and enhancing community outcomes.

About you

The successful candidate will be a collaborative and proactive team player with strong event coordination, stakeholder engagement and project management skills. They will be highly organised, customer-focused and adaptable, with the ability to build positive relationships, manage competing priorities and support the successful delivery of tourism and community events across the Macedon Ranges.

We support flexible working arrangements. This role is initially office-based for onboarding, with hybrid work available in the future once established in the role, subject to manager approval and operational needs.
