About the role

This role presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Macedon Ranges Shire Council Statutory Planning team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering the planning outcomes for large and complex applications, while guiding junior staff and providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders. 

About you

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused planning professional to take on this critical role in shaping planning outcomes across the Macedon Ranges Shire. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a strong understanding of planning processes, and relevant legislation. Your ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, combined with sound judgment and decision-making skills, will be key to your success in this role.
