About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Macedon Ranges Shire Council Statutory Planning team in a senior role with a strong focus on subdivision. You will be responsible for managing and delivering large and complex subdivision applications, acting as the primary point of contact for all subdivision-related matters. The role includes providing expert technical advice to internal and external stakeholders, guiding and supporting junior staff, and ensuring subdivision outcomes align with planning controls, legislation, and Council objectives.

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused planning professional to lead subdivision outcomes across the Macedon Ranges Shire. You will bring strong planning and legislative knowledge, a proactive approach, sound judgment, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
