We’re looking for an inspiring leader to guide a passionate team, foster strong relationships across Council and the community, and deliver initiatives that empower local groups, young people, and key stakeholders.

They bring exceptional relationship-building skills, a track record of delivering impactful projects, managing grants programs, and the ability to inspire teams and communities to work together toward shared goals.

Macedon Ranges Shire is located in central Victoria, about an hour's drive north-west of Melbourne. Covering an area of around 1700 square kilometres, the shire is a semi-rural municipality known for its beautiful natural landscapes. The shire has an estimated population of around 51,500 people and resides on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung, Taungurung and Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung peoples.
