About the role
Make a splash in your community! As a Learn to Swim Instructor, you’ll deliver fun, engaging swimming lessons that help children and swimmers of all abilities build confidence, develop their skills and stay safe in the water.
You could be teaching preschoolers taking their first steps in the pool, helping primary-aged swimmers develop their strokes or delivering private lessons — there are plenty of opportunities to make a real difference, one lesson at a time.
About you
You’re positive, patient and love seeing people learn and grow. You’ll bring energy and enthusiasm to every lesson, with the ability to adapt your approach to suit different ages and abilities. You’ll communicate clearly and respectfully, manage your classes confidently and create a safe, supportive and encouraging environment where swimmers can build their skills, gain confidence and have fun. You’ll also be comfortable working independently, following lesson plans and ensuring classes run safely and smoothly.
