About the role

Do you hold an approved Early Childhood qualification and want the flexibility to choose when and where you work? Join our casual educator pool and help cover staff leave across our eight kindergartens in Kyneton, Woodend, Lancefield, Romsey, Riddells Creek, Macedon and Gisborne. Our kindergartens deliver high-quality programs for three and four-year-old children during school terms. We offer a variety of shifts, including full-day roles (8:00 am–4:30 pm), lunch break cover (2–3 hours), and additional assistant roles to suit service needs. Located in the beautiful Macedon Ranges, our services are part of a welcoming, community-focused organisation committed to providing exceptional early childhood education. We are a proud Child Safe Organisation with zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to creating safe, inclusive and respectful environments for every child.

About you

We are seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators who are committed to creating safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments where children can thrive. You will be patient, caring and enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and development, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organised and committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education. Experience working with multi-age groups is highly regarded, and availability to work Thursdays would be an advantage.

Macedon Ranges Shire is located in central Victoria, about an hour's drive north-west of Melbourne.
