About the role

Join us at Macedon Ranges Shire Council as a Civil Projects Officer and lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects that improve the safety, functionality, and liveability of our community. You will oversee a variety of projects, including roads, drainage, footpaths, and township upgrades, managing them from design through to completion while ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

About you

We are seeking a qualified civil engineer with proven experience in delivering civil infrastructure projects, ideally within local government or a similar environment. The successful candidate will possess strong project management, contract administration, and stakeholder communication skills, supported by a thorough understanding of relevant standards and regulations. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
